Hatton Brothers ran a number of sports retail shops where they produced boots, and in particular fishing brogues, at Commercial Street, High Town, and St Peter Street Hereford and also one in Ross-on-Wye . The first mention of Hatton’s of Hereford in fishing circles was at the 1883 Fisheries Exhibition in London where the Hatton Brothers had a stall.
